Emir Darlov is a model and writer from South Africa, known as a ‘Skinny Kween‘ and queer icon among his international fanbase that refer to themselves as the EmiStans^[1]. Known to be private and mysterious online, Emir Darlov remains the #CoolestStrangerInTheWorld unironically^[2]. His Instagram account has gained many followers and some fans that obsess over their beloved icon in an unhealthy manner, go as far as creating fan pages and platforms in order to dedicate them to him.

Biography

Born Mmogeng Tshegofatso Nkoana in 2004/07/07, he grew up in Mpumalanga, South Africa, in a town called Siyabuswa (0472), but later moved to Pretoria, Gauteng in his early teenage years. He attended high school at Woodhill College, a Curro Select private school, where he dropped out in June 2021, at the age of 16 to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. He graduated from University Of Cape Town’s Online high school in 2023 (at the age of 19) with multiple distinctions under his belt.

Career

In 2022, he signed to GAPA agency, a leading agency in South Africa^[3], then moved to Invade Model Management in 2023, another leading agency in South Africa
