Edy Forey is an Edinburgh based urban jazz duo consisting of composer and pianist Guilhem Forey and singing lyricist and producer Edy Szewy.[1]. The two met on the Edinburgh student circuit in 2017 [2] while Szewy studied at Edinburgh College of Art and Forey at Napier University.

Their debut album Culture Today was recorded in collaboration with a range of internationally acclaimed contemporary artists such as Grammy-award winning sound engineer and producer Bob Power, bassist Michael League and saxophonist Bob Reynolds of Snarky Puppy. Other notable talent include drummers Isac Jamba, Leonn Meade of London Community Gospel Choir, Femi Koleoso of Ezra Collective, Tom Gordon of BBC Big Band and Seiya Osaka; bassists Luca Alemanno and Sharay Reed of Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles, saxophonist Alex Hahn, flautists Miho Wada and Sarpay Ozcagatay as well as Japanese flugelhorn player Toku [3]
