Charles Berthoud is a British bassist known for his unique soloistic style, centered around the slap and tap techniques and the use of [en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detuner].[1] He rose to fame as a YouTuber on his eponymous channel after being mentioned by Davide Biale (Davie504) and has released 4 albums and one DVD [2] Since beginning to upload his playing to YouTube, his videos first evolved to be more comedy-focused,[3] and now he is focused on demonstrating music composition, production, and performance skills and teaching them on his second channel, BassCamp.[4]
