Beard butter is a cosmetic product that is used to give nourishment to the facial hair. Beard butter is composed mainly of solid oils(butters) such as Shea, Cocoa or Mango and carrier oils. It is commonly scented with fragrance or essential oils.

Though similar to Beard Oil, Beard Butter is a solid product and is only meant for application to the hair where Beard oil is applied to the hair and skin.

Solid Oils - Avocado Butter, Palm Oil, Shea butter, Coconut oil, Cocoa butter, Mango butter.

Carrier Oils - Hempseed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil, Borage Oil, Rosehip Oil, Argan Oil Meadowfoam Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Baobab Oil, Vitamin E Oil.

Wax such as beeswax or carnauba are occasionally added in small amounts typically less than 5% mainly for the purpose of transportation and extending shelf life.

Beard Butter is very similar to Beard Balm although the main purpose is to give nourishment to the hair where as Beard Balm which has a higher wax content for styling and to give hold to the beard hair as well as some nourishment.
