Börje: The Journey of a Legend is a Swedish TV drama series. It consists of six episodes and will start airing on Viaplay in the Nordic countries and Canada on 19 November 2023. It's a story about Börje Salming, a young Swedish mine-worker and ice hockey player from Kiruna who joins the Toronto Maple Leafs, ending up becoming the first Swedish ice hockey player to get inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. The series was written by Martin Bengtsson and directed by Amir Chamdin. It features Valter Skarsgård, Hedda Stiernstedt and Jason Priestley. Chamdin worked on the series for eight years.[1] The music was composed by Niclas Frisk, with Nina Persson singing the title song.[2] Börje Salming was involved in the making of the series until his death in 2022.[1][3][4]
