Arjun Menda (born December 4, 1933) is an Indian billionaire Entrepreneur, real estate investor and real estate developer and philanthropist. He is the Group Chairperson of RMZ Corporation a real estate developer, investor and owner conglomerate headquartered in Bengaluru, India. In 2023 he became the richest person in Bengaluru on the 360 ONE Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2023.[1][2] He is the founder of the Menda Foundation, a philanthropic trust established in 1990 to focus on empowering underprivileged children and adults who lack access to education.[3] In 2017, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India, and in 2021 he was honored as the Outstanding Alumni of the Year by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.[4][5][6][7]

He was born in 1933 in Shikarpur, Sindh (Now Pakistan). During the partition, they moved to Chennai. He completed his graduation from IIT Kharagpur in Production Technology.[8]

Arjun Menda embarked on his professional career as an Industrial Engineer at Mahindra & Mahindra Limited in Mumbai. He then progressed to the role of Production Manager at Gabriel India Limited. Subsequently, he ventured into promoting small-scale industries specializing in the manufacturing of precision-tuned and pressed parts.[3][9]
