Anwar fondly recalls Aminul Haque Amin as not only his first theater director but also someone who taught him the nuances of different acting expressions, ranging from comedy to sorrowful portrayals. This pivotal experience marked the beginning of his association with the theater movement in Bangladesh.

In 1997, Anwar became a member of the Center for Asian Theater (CAT), Bangladesh's pioneering professional theater group. During the audition process, he was deeply impressed by his long-time theater Guru and director, Kamaluddin Nilu. Under the guidance of Kamaluddin Nilu, Anwar received comprehensive training in the essence of modern theater, diverse acting styles, and the intricacies of contemporary theater management. This invaluable education and exposure to the world of theater equipped Anwar with the skills and knowledge necessary to evolve into the seasoned artist he is today.

Anwar's initial venture into the Center for Asian Theater involved his participation in the play "SHOTTOPEER," where he skillfully portrayed the lead character. This theatrical production took place as part of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) Bangladesh 1999 project, with Naila Azad Nupur serving as the director. Within the project, a total of four plays were staged, one of which was titled "SHOTTOPEER”. Anwar greatly values Naila Azad Nupur's contributions to his acting career and regards her as one of his esteemed acting mentors. Through her guidance, he acquired a deep understanding of the spiritual aspect of acting.

In 1999, another notable production titled "BHELUA SHUNDORI" took place at Bailey Road Mohila Shomity, led by Kamaluddin Nilu, the Artistic Director of CAT (Center for Asian Theater), and directed by Saidur Rahman Lipon. This collaboration marked Anwar's second time working with Naila Azad Nupur as a theater director. Nupur Apa possesses the ability to immerse actors in this realm, and she imparted this knowledge to us." It was a rare treat for the country's theater lovers to witness something truly unique and groundbreaking after many years. In this remarkable drama, director Kamaluddin Nilu entrusted Anwar with the role of assistant director, which proved to be a significant milestone in Anwar's career.

The opportunity to work alongside an esteemed international theater director was a tremendous achievement, and Anwar fulfilled his responsibilities with great success. Grateful for the chance to collaborate with Nilu sir, Anwar expressed his deep appreciation, stating, "I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to work as an assistant to an international drama teacher and director like Nilu sir. Working closely with an accomplished director like Nilu sir opened new horizons for Anwar and provided invaluable insights into the world of theater.

Thus began Anwar's remarkable journey into the world of theater. From that point onward, his momentum never ceased. Despite this, he had a keen interest in acting in advertisements rather than TV dramas. Nevertheless, he never declined offers from well-known directors, whether they were friends or highly reputed in the industry.

This approach led him to collaborate with a series of popular directors, one after another. Noteworthy among these collaborations are projects such as Momtazuddin Ahmed's "SHONALI BADOLER SOPNO," Alvi Ahmed's "PARALLEL IMAGE," and Anindo Sish's "PISACH." Anwar shared an interesting anecdote, stating that while he was working on the costume design for "THE LAST THAKUR," he crossed paths with Jayanta Da (Jayanta Chattopadhyay), one of the lead actors in the film. Jayanta Da informed him that Tareque Masud was in search of artists for his new project and offered to convey Anwar's interest to him. That very night, Anwar met Tareque Bhai in Dhaka. Following a brief audition, Anwar was ultimately selected by Tareque Bhai to be a part of his new film, "NAROSHUNDOR." The story of "NAROSHUNDOR" revolves around a young freedom fighter and the Pakistan Army's crackdown during the 1971 war in Bangladesh. This political thriller portrays the journey of a student activist seeking refuge from the Pakistan Army in a local barbershop.

Enrolling in the prestigious Bangladesh Institute of Design (BID), which was the first private design institute in the country at the time, Anwar undertook a one-year diploma course in Fashion Design Technology. It was Jahanara, Anwar's wife, who deserves full credit for inspiring him to study design at BID. Anwar acknowledges her pivotal role, stating, "My wife was the first person to encourage me to study fashion design. Without her advice, I may not have pursued this path, and my life would have taken a different trajectory."

Anwar holds deep gratitude for his teacher, Mr. AMMSHK Rizvy, whom he regards with immense respect. Reflecting on his time at BID, Anwar shares, "I used to believe that design was solely about drawings, but Rizvi sir taught me that design is a logical solution achieved through technology to solve any problem." Anwar emphasizes the transformative impact of his one-year study at BID, noting the significant influence of Rizvi sir's meticulous guidance. Their connection remains strong to this day, with Rizvi sir continuing to offer unwavering support and affection. Anwar expresses his heartfelt appreciation, stating, "From that one year onward, Rizvi sir has treated me like his own son. I am deeply grateful to him." Upon completing the course in 2003, Anwar embarked on a professional journey as a fashion designer, joining Beximco Garments and Textiles Division. The year spent at BID not only changed the trajectory of Anwar's life but also instilled in him a profound passion for fashion design, setting the stage for his successful career in the field.

Anwar possesses exceptional skills in men's fashion design and holds a strong fascination for garments made from denim fabric. In 2006, his talent was recognized by Beximco, who selected him as a design presenter to represent Bangladesh at an International Fashion Fair in Paris. Anwar's presentation proved to be a resounding success, setting him apart as an accomplished designer among his Bangladeshi counterparts at Beximco. He also played a crucial role as one of the first designers for Beximco's local outlet, "YELLOW," where he primarily focused on designing menswear.

In 2008, seeking new challenges, Anwar decided to depart from Beximco and joined a jeans manufacturing company called "PASSION JEANS" as the Design & Product Development Manager. This marked his first opportunity to exclusively work with denim. During this period, he developed connections with renowned denim fabric manufacturing companies and gained extensive knowledge about their fabrics. Subsequently, in 2009, he embarked on a new professional endeavor, joining the Dubai-based buying house, "Concord Venture Group," in the capacity of a Senior Fashion and Graphics Designer. In 2010, Anwar joined Opex & Sinha Textiles Group Limited as the Design & Product Development Head under the guidance of Director Miss Tanzia Sinha. This position enabled him to collaborate with prominent buyers such as JC Penney, Levi's, Dockers, Wrangler, Lee Cooper, Wal-Mart, Zara, and H&M, working closely with their designers. The following year, in 2011, OPEX provided him with training in denim washing, partnering with a Turkish denim washing and chemical company. Anwar successfully completed the training, further enhancing his expertise in this specialized area.

In 2012, Tanzia envisioned the establishment of a fashion house in London exclusively dedicated to menswear. Entrusting Anwar with significant responsibilities, Tanzia assigned him the task of conceptualizing the brand name, designing the logo, developing dress designs, and formulating production plans. Collaborating with other members of their design team, they successfully created a fashion house named "ATTIRE." Within a matter of months, Tanzia opened an outlet in London, bringing their vision to life.

In 2012, Anwar was entrusted by OPEX with the responsibility of representing the company as a denim designer and washing expert during a marketing meeting held in China. He conducted the meeting with great success, further solidifying his expertise in the field. Anwar takes immense pride in his involvement in this remarkable endeavor and expresses deep gratitude to Tanzia Sinha for providing him with such a significant opportunity. The experience of contributing to the establishment of "ATTIRE" holds special meaning for Anwar, as it showcases his talent and dedication in the realm of fashion design.

Around the same period, Anwar made the decision to leave Opex and joined Doreen Fashion, which was a part of the Siddique Group of Industries. Assuming the role of Head of Design and Product Development, he collaborated closely with several talented colleagues from Sri Lanka. However, due to divergent mindsets, philosophical differences, and personal conflicts, Anwar eventually parted ways with Doreen Fashion after a year of employment. Following his departure, Anwar experienced a period of unemployment in 2013. During this time, he utilized his creative skills by working as an actor and costume designer for various media projects. Additionally, he engaged as a freelance designer for notable garment manufacturing companies such as Habib Group Limited in Chittagong and Zaber & Zubair Fabrics Limited in Dhaka, contributing his expertise and creativity to their projects.

In 2014, Anwar reunited with OPEX, this time collaborating with Tanzia Sinha to establish her own fashion house based in London, called "NAIKA." Just as he had previously worked on creating "ATTIRE" with her, Anwar played an instrumental role in the design and development of "NAIKA." Their partnership extended to various designing collaborations, including projects such as Nayok, Alana Khelna, and Coventina Lake Suites, among others. Anwar's creative contributions to these ventures flourished under the guidance of Tanzia Sinha, leading to fruitful collaborations until 2019.

Following the COVID-19 emergency in 2021, Anwar responded to an invitation from Tanzia Sinha and joined her digital marketing agency, "CREATIVE CIRCUS," as an Operations Manager.
