Adari Anand Kumar is a businessman, politician and philantrophist who belongs to Yelamanchili of Anakapalli district(part of former Visakhapatnam district). He is the current chairman of Visakha Diary, Andhra Pradesh Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises Development Corporation(APMSME DC) chairman and Visakhapatnam West Constituency YSRCP co-ordinator.
Visakha Diary(officially known as Sri Vijaya Visakha Diary) is recognised for its development activities for 2 lakh diary farmers and their families. At present, it's collecting and trading 8.5 lakh litres of milk daily and has a turnover of 1500 crore per annum. He has taken the charge as chairperson of Visakha Dairy after the demise of former chairman Andhra Curian Adari Tulasi Rao. After taking oath as chairman of Visakha Dairy, he has promised to uplift the lives of Dairy farmers by providing better cattle breeds, cattle feed and cattle health care. He has also promised to consider health and welfare schemes for dairy farmers and to develop Visakha dairy further. And strive to provide best and pure quality milk and its products to the consumers.
He has been appointed as Andhra Pradesh Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises Development Corporation(APMSME DC) chairman in March, 2023 with the blessings of the Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in recognition of his services as Co-ordinator of Visakha West Constituency. On this occasion, Sri Anand spoke about the contribution of APMSME DC to the development by extending support to enthusiastic small, medium entrepreneurs, startups, and contributing to the development of the national workforce.
