Dinesh Abeywickrama

Dinesh Abeywickrama (born January 1, 1983) is a Sri Lankan IT strategist,[1][2] researcher[3][4][5][6] and author.[7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16] He is a Member of British Computer Society and currently working as an executive officer at the Capital Maharaja Organization.[17][18][19]In 2015 he developed Sri Lanka's first Citizen journalism mobile App.[20][21]

Early life and family edit

Born to a middle-class family in the suburbs of Colombo he received his school education at Bandaranayake College, Gampaha.[22] Dinesh's father, Sunil Abeywickrama,[23] was a government clerk, while his mother Mala Abeywickrama was a grade one officer at Sri Lanka Insurance.[24]

Dinesh is a degree holder from the British Computer Society,[25] holds a Master's in Business Management from the Cardiff Metropolitan University. Then he is doing his Ph.D. in Business Management from Management and Science University, Malaysia.[26]

Research edit

Dinesh Abeywickrama has made many contributions to the ICT field, publishing several scientific papers and articles in peer-reviewed journals, some of which are archived at Oxford University Press.[27][28] His Green Banking research was awarded at the International Multidisciplinary Research Conference 2016.[29][30][31][32]
