Dareyn Rural District (Persian: دهستان درین)[a] is in Bafruiyeh District of Meybod County, Yazd province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Dareyn.[3]

After the 2011 National Census, Bafruiyeh Rural District and the city of Bafruiyeh were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Bafruiyeh District, which was divided into two rural districts and the city.[4]

At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 701 in 240 households. The most populous of its 50 villages was Hafthar, with 256 people.[2]

In March 2019, the name of the rural district was changed from Surk to Dareyn Rural District.[5]
