Chrtníč is a village and municipality (obec) in Havlíčkův Brod District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 6.61 square kilometres (2.55 sq mi), and has a population of 140 (as at 3 July 2006).
Chrtníč lies approximately 21 kilometres (13 mi) north-west of Havlíčkův Brod, 43 km (27 mi) north of Jihlava, and 82 km (51 mi) south-east of Prague.
