Chelo Rural District (Persian: دهستان چلو) is in Chelo District of Andika County, Khuzestan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Zabut.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Andika District of Masjed Soleyman County) was 5,118 in 833 households.[5] There were 5,365 inhabitants in 1,056 households at the following census of 2011,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of the new Andika County.[3] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,527 in 1,165 households. The most populous of its 82 villages was Zabut, with 1,031 people.[2]
