Is this category for classical (Attic) Greek only, or for modern Greek? If, as the text suggests, it's the former, why is there no category for the latter? --zenohockey 02:12, 8 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

This is for classical Greek, and there is one for modern Greek (Category:User el). I'm actually thinking about making a new one for Koine Greek (which is the dialect I'm learning), since it's kind of in-between ancient and modern.  –Benjamin  (talk)  02:15, 2 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
Yes please do - this is the one I'm learning too, also would you be able to establish a grc-0 category (like en-0) and when you do it a Koine Greek-0 as well, thanks as that is when my abilities are Kevinalewis 10:03, 1 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
The Koine Greek user language templates are under ke, at Category:User ke. And, I have made ke-0 at Template:User ke-0.  –Benjamin  (talk)  17:38, 1 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Any particular reason for specifying Attic (γλῶττα)? It's just that I mostly read non-Attic authors ... not that I think there should be separate templates for Attic, Ionic, Doric, Aeolic, epic, Lesbian, Macedonian, and Illyrian, that'd be kind of silly ... Some of the user templates have errors (capital letters at the start, incorrect breathing marks etc.). Are there any objections to me changing them so that ὅδε appears rather than Ὄδε? LeighvsOptimvsMaximvs 11:55, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
