February seems like a long time ago now, but I think it began with me observing that neither Censoring (statistics) nor Null (SQL) seemed to fit very well in Category:Missing data even though they feel as if they all have something in common with each other. The category seemed to be reasonably at home in Category:Abstraction which was another reason for trying it out on the wider Wikipedia public.
