Would it make sense to have a sub-category for independent research institutes? By this I mean research institutions that are not linked to a university or government, etc.. I am working on an article that would fit in this category (Monell Chemical Senses Center), but I am not sure if there enough other similar institutes to justify a new category. ike9898 23:14, 14 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Subcategories edit

I would suggest that each research institute is categorized at least by three criteria

  1. Subject, reflecting the science categories
  2. Country, including the option to have an international ones
  3. Type of endowment, e.g governmental, university, etc

and will start adding cats and adding subcategories where necessary.--Tikiwont 11:40, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
