hyphen vs funny hyphen edit

MOS run amok; so instead of Category:Populated places in the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District, straight typing, using this means I have to copy-paste Category:Populated places in the Squamish–Lillooet Regional District because of that non-hyphen dash in there. Why does "improving" Wikipedia always seem to mean making it more awkward/time-consuming to use?Skookum1 (talk) 09:01, 31 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
