I'm working on make this page more complete. Please feel free to add composers who qualify. I'm trying to restrict this to composers who can be said to have made a MAJOR contribution to the violin repertoire. If anyone feels that one of my choices is in question, please say so right away.

The category page refers to "solo violin", but the title of the category does not reflect that. I suggest it be moved to "Composers for solo violin". -- JackofOz (talk) 03:44, 10 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
