I think "Build tools" is a better, more generic, and more commonly used (and grammatically nice) term, worth considering. --Flata 07:06, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
I subscribe to that.Gradle for example is classified under the Compiling tools category. When entering the page for "Compiling tools" I am redirected to the page of "Compiler". To me, this category does not bring much. I would also prefer "Build tools". 5.12.244.197 (talk) 04:28, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
