Not all articles to be merged edit

If you look at some of the articles in this category, it is soon clear that in many cases the discussion has gone against merger or has even been formally closed as "no merge" (e.g. Acequia). The trouble is no-one has removed the proposed-merge tag from the head of the article. Editors should certainly not take membership of this category as an invitation to crash in and carry out mergers without reviewing the discussion: Noyster (talk), 17:27, 3 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
