Former Latin Catholic (arch)bishoprics in France which have been suppressed, dismembered, merged into another, promoted or demoted.

Most of these dioceses were suppressed following the French Revolution, which brought a major tidying-up of diocesan structure in France after the Concordat of 1801. Following that, modern French dioceses are largely congruent with départments. There have, however, been other organisational changes, most recently in 2002.
