Protestant bishops of the diocese of Brechin. From the Glorious Revolution of 1689 until 1724, the bishopric was either sede vacante or administered by Bishop of Edinburgh. When episcopacy was restored in Scotland with the creation of the Scottish Episcopal Church, there has been an uninterrupted line of bishops until the present day.
