BAPLA is the trade association of UK based photographic image suppliers, commercial picture libraries and agencies.
History
The association was formed in 1975 with founding members: Getty Images, Robert Harding World Imagery, Aspect Picture Library, FLPA - Images of Nature, Camera Press, BBC Photo Library, Ardea, Rex Features and Redferns Music Picture Library.
Structure
It is situated on Tranquil Vale in Blackheath near Blackheath railway station on the B212.
David Redfern has been its president since 1992.
