William Daley (born 1962) better known by his ring name Billy Silverman, is a professional wrestling referee who worked for World Championship Wrestling and the World Wrestling Federation.
Career
Silverman started in pro wrestling in 1990 as a referee for International Championship Wrestling in New England. Joining the World Wrestling Federation in 1997, Silverman made his only WrestleMania appearance at WrestleMania 13. He eventually was signed by World Championship Wrestling in the late 1990s and refereed there until WCW was purchased by Vince McMahon in 2001.
He returned to the World Wrestling Federation and became a member of The Alliance. He left soon after due to hazing by John Layfield.[1]
Silverman appeared in the 2000 movie Ready to Rumble.
