Babarashani Rural District

Babarashani Rural District (Persian: دهستان بابارشاني)[3] is in Chang Almas District of Bijar County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[4] It is administered from the city of Babarashani.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 3,178 in 739 households.[6] There were 2,886 inhabitants in 849 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,050 in 687 households. The most populous of its 34 villages was Jebreil, with 336 people.[2]
