Antarapata

Antarapata is an Indian Kannada language drama television series that premiered on 24 April 2023 on Colors Kannada. Aradhana believes in the fact - Live for your ambition. Sushanth interferes in Aradhana's life and her dreams to become an entrepreneur. The story is based on a major misunderstanding between Aradhana and Sushanth's family regarding the death of Shivu, Aradhana 's father.

Plot

The heroine of the story, Aradhana, is a girl with a very simple personality who belongs to a middle class family. No matter how difficult her life is, she always dreams of managing a wedding business to keep her family happy. She manages her drunkard father, Mahesh and her caring mother Revathi. Sushanth, an aimless boy is thrown out of the house by his father because of false claims on him that he killed a boy, Ravi through accident. Ravi was Aradhana's friend. Drifted apart from his loving mother, he wants her company.

Sushanth meets Aradhana and tries to help her find a job. The number of jobs she joins, the number of dismisses she gets. Aradhana's marriage is arranged by her father with a drunkard, whom Sushanth knows to be a thief. Aradhana wants to escape the marriage, but she is trapped. An astrologer advises her to carry on with the marriage. The marriage is stopped by Sushanth. Sushanth's father realises his mistake, and wants Sushanth back home. He misses him badly and yearns for him in front of Savitri. Manvitha, Sushanth's friend sees the care and appreciation that Sushanth and Aradhana share with each other. She hints, both of them love each other and says Sushanth the same.

As soon as Sushanth meets his father while doing a delivery, his father gets emotional and asks him to return home. He says that we would return only after his challenge of earning money. In the meanwhile, he gets sad, thinking about how his life would be drifted from Aradhana after his challenge, when he would have to return home.

Aradhana undertakes a huge marriage event managing task under Kalyanavasthu company. Her rival Rahul tries to steal all the money she had kept for her mother 's operation. However, later he feels bad and returns it back. Aradhana successfully carries on with the marriage function. She then meets Dharmendra Pradhan, Sushanth's father. She becomes angry. She shares it with Raj, who is Sushanth himself. Sushanth is dumbstruck to hear this. He feels Aradhana will never accept his love when she knows that he is Sushanth. So he decides to go away from her.

Aradhana stops the marriage in a case of dowry, and looses her income for her mother's treatment. She decides to donate one of her kidneys to her, but Sushanth stops her. Sushanth is ready to leave Aradhana's house. Sushanth reaches his house. The entire family is happy except his sister, Amala. Dharmendra Pradhan is happy that his son has changed and has earned one lakh without revealing his identity as Sushanth. Sushanth asks his mother whether father committed some sin because he knows about it from Aradhana. On the other hand, Aradhana misses Sushanth so much. Amala tries to disconnect Sushanth - Aradhana.

Sushanth returns to Aradhana, and both start launching their company 'Antarapata'. While on a trip to Chikmagalur, they eat food in one room and are accused of mistake since they are not married. Sushanth and Aradhana face accusations from Mahesh and Revathi, making Sushant angry. He ties a thali to Aradhana, and marries her immediately. He even discloses that he loved her so much, and that he is none other than Sushanth Raj Pradhan, the son of Dharmendra Raj Pradhan, much to Aradhana 's dislike.

Aradhana scolds Sushanth for this. She doesn't want to go to her enemy's house as the daughter in law. Murthy reveals Aradhana the truth, that her father's death was not due to Dharma, but his adopted daughter Amala, who made false claims about Shivsankar. Aradhana is shocked to hear this, and goes to Pradhan house. Savitri doesn't accept her as her daughter in law, but Dharma does.

Aradhana starts to trust Dharma, who is not responsible for her father's demise. Dharma arranges Sushanth and Aradhana's thali ceremony. Savitri is reluctant to accept Aradhana.

Reshma , Sushanth's ex- girlfriend enters into his life and repeatedly calls and distrubs him. Aradhana's next step is to gain trust from her mother- in - law.

Sushanth supports Aradhana and tells her that her dream to build a company will not be broken after she is married. Sushanth will help Aradhana reach her dreams and turn them into reality.

Amala and Ganapati intoxicate Aradhana on Ram Navami, hoping to distance relationship between Aradhana and Dharma. But, the plan fails. Dharma takes Aradhana to her father's company in a scooter that belonged to her father. Aradhana gets nostalgic remembering her father. Dharma also gets emotional about his friend.

Production

The show marks the first production venture of Swapna Krishna on Colors Kannada. The first promo was launched on 14 January 2023 and started on 24 April 2023.
