Anna Slatz (also known as Anna de Luca[1]) is a Canadian journalist and gender critical activist.[2][3] She has written for The Post Millennial and Rebel News.[4][5] She serves as news editor for news website Reduxx.[6]
Slatz served as editor-in-chief for student newspaper The Baron until she was fired following the publication of an article written by and an interview with the leader of a neo-Nazi group. In 2020, she was charged for violating a curfew while she covered a riot related to the murder of George Floyd, the charges were later dismissed.

Under the pen name Anna de Luca, Slatz served as the editor-in-chief of The Baron, a student newspaper from the University of New Brunswick Saint John campus (UNBSJ). In 2018, the newspaper published an op-ed written by and an interview with the president of the National Socialist Canadian Labour Revival Party, a neo-Nazi group. Following criticism directed towards the newspaper, Slatz defended the publication on the principle that no view should be censored, regardless of how controversial they could be.[1][7] She was later fired from The Baron and the publication's board of directors published an apology about the incident.[7][8][9][10]
In June 2020, Slatz was arrested in New York under suspicion of having violated a curfew while she was covering Manhattan protests related to the killing of George Floyd. She was charged for disorderly conduct, among other crimes, and spent two days in custody. The charges were later dismissed at the request of the Manhattan District Attorney's office.[2][11]
Following the publication of a video showing pro-J. K. Rowling activist Chris Elston following a transgender activist woman in the street and asking her about "gender ideology", Slatz stated that Elson's actions were not "activism", but a "theater".[3] In 2023, Slatz shared a video produced by ThePrint in which Indian men stated that women who dress provocatively are "inviting" rape. "I can’t think of a single valid reason for any woman to visit India," she said.[12]
