Abiz-e Jadid (Persian: ابيز جديد)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Shaskuh District of Zirkuh County, South Khorasan province, Iran,[4] and also serves as the administrative center for Shaskuh Rural District.[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,102 in 574 households, when it was a village in Shaskuh Rural District of Zirkuh District, Qaen County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 3,077 people in 776 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,716 people in 787 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Zirkuh County.[4] It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]

After the census, the village of Abiz-e Jadid was elevated to the status of a city and made the capital of the district.[8]
