The 2024 SMU Mustangs football team will represent Southern Methodist University (SMU) in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Mustangs are expected to be led by Rhett Lashlee in his third year as the program's head coach. The Mustangs will play their home games at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in University Park, Texas.
