2024 Michigan elections

The 2024 Michigan elections will be held on November 5, 2024. In addition to the 2024 United States presidential election, elections will be held for all of the state's seats in the United States House of Representatives, the state's class 1 seat in the United States Senate, and for all the seats in the Michigan House of Representatives. Elections to various local offices will also be held.

Incumbent Democratic Senator Debbie Stabenow is retiring, leaving an open seat.[1]

All 110 seats in the Michigan House of Representatives are up for elections. Democrats currently have a majority with 56 seats, while Republicans hold 54 seats.[2]

On December 21, 2023, a three-judge panel on the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan ruled that 13 state legislative districts, including 7 state House districts, violated the Equal Protection Clause of the United States Constitution and needed to be redrawn.[3]
