The 334-lap, 501 miles (806 km) event is scheduled to be held on October 17 at the 1.5 miles (2.4 km) Lowe's Motor Speedway in the Charlotte, North Carolina suburb of Concord. ABC will telecast the race beginning at 7 PM US EDT and the Performance Racing Network (Terrestrial) along with Sirius XM Radio (Satellite) will have radio coverage starting at the same time. Jimmie Johnson has dominated the weekend by winning all 3 practice sessions, the pole, and the race. He increased his championship lead and chances for a fourth consecutive title.
