The April 2016 NYC WikiWednesday salon and skill-share with the Wikimedia NYC community was held Wednesday, April 13, 2016, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm (video hour at start, 6-7pm) at Babycastles, a co-working space and gallery located near 14th Street / Union Square in Manhattan.

  • 7:00 pm - 7:30 pm: Introductions for visitors
    • Newcomer's Wiki Workshop!
  • 7:30 pm - 8:00 pm: Meeting, Part I (roundtable on ongoing projects)
  • 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Meeting, Part II (new project proposals and ideas)

Video opportunity

  • For this meeting, a videographer will be present to record 1-3 minute videos of individual Wikipedians saying anything about their Wikipedia projects. Videos will be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons and YouTube. With the time we have, anyone may present a video. Rehearse your talk before you come. You may share an experience, give a lesson, make a presentation, or say what you like. The audience might be anyone searching for videos of Wikipedians talking about Wikipedia. This will be an amateur effort.
