Join us in spreading the love of human creativity at our next Library Affinity Group Wikipedia Edit-a-thon. This is an opportunity to select your favorite artist from Mia’s collection and create or update that artist’s Wikipedia entry.

Please bring a laptop with you as we will only have a limited number available for use.

No Wikipedia experience necessary; training session at 12:30 p.m. for newcomers on the day of the event. Library resources will be on hand for researching artists in the museum's collection. We will also be providing light refreshments and will be presenting a specially designed award cookie for those attendees that add content during the Wikipedia Edit-a-thon.

Free, tickets required. To register, call 612-870-6323 or reserve online [2]. If you haven't edited in Wikipedia before, we will help you register for an account. Mia's library [3]is open Tuesday-Friday 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and its staff is available for providing assistance in setting up a Wikipedia personal account and for research in preparation for editing Wikipedia. You can search our library's collection online through our catalog Mia Library Catalog. We also have numerous subscription research databases on art that you can access while in the library.
