Happy St. David's Day

The leek is one of the national emblems of Wales, worn along with the daffodil (in Welsh, the daffodil is known as "Peter's leek", Cenhinen Bedr) on St. David's Day. According to one legend, King Cadwaladr of Gwynedd ordered his soldiers to identify themselves by wearing the vegetable on their helmets in an ancient battle against the Saxons that took place in a leek field.

Yes, a discussion should be used to determine what detail should be needed. Another Wikipedian named Mattythewhite had also reverted some of these contributions as well, quoting "Not needed" as part of the edit summaries. While it is three editors against one {while another one thanked me for this edit), it seems likely there could be agreement on displaying minimal detail as possible. I've just seen that now, thanks. I have no idea who that IP might be. But they may be mixing up historical locations (which is wholly correct) with overly detailed locations (which are not). I guess in some cases they might overlap. But most of Sheldon Murray's edits seem to be for modern BLP articles. Martinevans123 (talk) 17:51, 7 May 2024 (UTC)

Which includes a couple of other sock accounts. I've checked these contributions myself, they are obviously very similar. This user fails to take note of the "formal warnings" by FMSky and Discospinster. I have no idea when future edits will appear next on my watchlist or elsewhere.
