trans flag at citogenesis edit

I just saw your additions to both trans flags and WP: citogenesis. I was wondering whether the trans flag (and specifically the helms flag becoming the 'default') would count for terms that become real on the citogenesis page. Just due to the nature of symbols for people and social movements and the helms flag has become a recognisable symbol. LunaHasArrived (talk) 16:20, 30 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

@LunaHasArrived: The creator called it the "Transgender Pride Flag"], so Wikipedia is not the origin of the name of the flag. I think the section Wikipedia:List_of_citogenesis_incidents#Terms_that_became_real is only for cases where Wikipedia names something.
My belief as posted at Talk:Transgender_flag#Origin_of_popularity_is_Wikipedia and Wikipedia:List_of_citogenesis_incidents is just that there were numerous trans symbols, but Wikipedia made this one the most popular.
There could be different ways to group or present the info at WP:Citogenesis, and if you have ideas, then I would support and help discuss changes. Bluerasberry (talk) 14:32, 31 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
