Link edit

Thanks for adding some relevant links to National Basketball Association. One thing to keep in mind is to make the links intuitive to readers. They should not be surprised by where it ends up. For example, I modified the link to the Christmas games, because either 1) eveyone thinks they know what a plain "game" is and wont click or 2) is surprised after they click that a simple "game" is really a more specific link. Refer to MOS:EGG and MOS:MORELINKWORDS for more guidance. Thanks. —Bagumba (talk) 04:37, 7 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thanks on behalf of WP:CBBALL edit

  The Original Barnstar
Your latest efforts on behalf of WP:CBBALL are greatly appreciated. You have done lots of great work for the project. However, 1997 NCAA Division III women's basketball tournament is especially exemplary because of the diligence with which you fully completed page and the extent to which you polished its presentation. Because NCAA Division III is relegated in obscurity to NCAA Division I and the project emphasizes Division I, having all men's DI and women's DIs is all that is a high priority to some. To complete the set of all men's and women's D1, D2 and D3 tournaments is of underappreciated importance for the project. Keep up the great work.TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 04:39, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Move NFL categories edit

Hello. Can you request to move most of the NFL categories such that "National Football League" be renamed to "NFL" per the result of this discussion? I'm having a hard time requesting at WP:CFDS since it's a lot. ScarletViolet (tc) 12:58, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Moving NFL categories requires a request? Can category moves be "unilaterally" made since the consensus has already been reached? - BeFriendlyGoodSir (talk) 20:31, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
I do not have experience helping out in the category sections. When I look at Category:National Football League, I can't find a page move option. I am not sure how to go about requesting this. I'll look into it some more and see how I can contribute. Thanks, - BeFriendlyGoodSir (talk) 20:34, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Oh, I see how to do it. That will be a lot of requests. Yes, I can help out. - BeFriendlyGoodSir (talk) 20:38, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Linking to userspace in articles about Wikipedia editors edit

Hey there! I just wanted to let you know that you should never add a link to a userpage into an article, as you did here. The official guideline on this is at WP:User_pages#Userspace_and_mainspace. Toadspike [Talk] 17:57, 24 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
