Welcome to Wikipedia!

Hello IP user. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions!

I'm Walter Görlitz, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge. Although you're free to perform most tasks on Wikipedia without registering, it's highly recommended you create an account as there are many added benefits. It's private and secure and it's also free, simple, and quick to do.

Some pages of helpful information to get you started:
    Introduction to Wikipedia
    The five pillars of Wikipedia
    Editing tutorial
    How to edit a page
    Simplified Manual of Style
    The basics of Wikicode
    How to develop an article
    How to create an article
    Help pages
    What Wikipedia is not
Some common sense Dos and Don'ts:
    Do be bold
    Do assume good faith
    Do be civil
    Do keep cool!
Do maintain a neutral point of view
    Don't spam
    Don't infringe copyright
Don't edit where you have a conflict of interest
    Don't commit vandalism
    Don't get blocked
If you need further help, you can:
    Ask a question
or you can:
    Get help at the Teahouse
or even:
Ask an experienced editor to "adopt" you

Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will try to help.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:
    Fight vandalism
Be a WikiFairy or a WikiGnome
    Help contribute to articles
    Perform maintenance tasks

Become a member of a project that interests you
    Help design new templates
Subscribe and contribute to The Signpost
Translate articles from Wikipedias in other languages

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. If you register an account, you can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you could put a link to it on your user page.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the   button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your IP address linked to your contributions page (however, if you create an account, your IP address will be hidden and you will be able to build a custom signature that can link to your own user page), a link to this IP's talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

Sincerely, Walter Görlitz (talk) 21:49, 9 August 2021 (UTC)   (Leave me a message)Reply

Request reason:

This morning I updated a few pages then later today when I went to update a couple more I was suddenly blocked. It looks like I may have been caught up in a range block or something. I only make a few edits per year, can I get unblocked please? -- 64.136.123.133 (talk) 22:33, 20 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

There is no block on this IP directly. If you are using a VPN, you will need to turn it off, clear your cache, and wait 24 hours. 331dot (talk) 00:42, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Image edit

Why put back that trash low quality image? And also that picture you put is a free image your stole even the other ones was better stop making edits dude. Just stop Jjaksema (talk) 21:06, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Jjaksema has been rude to other editors and has been admonished for it. Just ignore. David notMD (talk) 12:18, 5 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
No not that he has said someelse first go on with your life. Jjaksema (talk) 20:25, 5 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Wow, that message is somewhat incoherent. Let's make something clear, you posted a WWE image that you stole but claimed as your own. It still had the bug in the bottom corner. We have to use what's available. Don't get mad at me about it. -- 64.136.123.133 (talk) 16:46, 6 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
I do whatever i want to do on here and you will not change anything about it. And why but a low quality image saying Kevin owens hugging sami zayn? "Don't get mad at me about it" when you started this argument Because I looked what you put when you made the edit so shut up. Jjaksema (talk) 20:52, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
You are mad at me because i didn't claim it as my own image? You didn't make this page at all so why are you so worried about it? You stole a non-free-image that was found on Google. 72.240.96.170 (talk) 16:32, 22 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
