Change this sentence:

Following the railway's decision to divest non-core freight railway assets prior to the company's privatization in 1995, it transferred the tower to the Canada Lands Company, a federal Crown corporation responsible for real estate development

To this sentence (with an update at the end):

Following the railway's decision to divest non-core freight railway assets prior to the company's privatization in 1995, it transferred the tower to the Canada Lands Company, a federal Crown corporation responsible for real estate development and attractions management.   Not done: From your source Canada Lands Co. is a self-financing federal Crown corporation specializing in real estate development. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 15:13, 14 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Changing E.R. Baldwin to Edward R. Baldwin. Edward is not referred to as E.R. in publications, articles, documents, etc. 73.238.234.37 (talk) 20:11, 26 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Antennae are only found on insects

edit

Someone should correct the use of "antennae" in the article. Radio antennas are not spelled that way. Thanks 2600:1700:22F0:59EF:10CA:AB50:2549:E7CE (talk) 22:15, 30 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Done Great catch! I have corrected it. Thanks! Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 00:12, 1 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Microwave level

edit

In the article I found "Below the public areas—at 338 m (1,108.9 ft)—is a large white donut-shaped radome containing the structure's UHF transmitters."

Back in the mid 90s, when I was in planning with Unitel, I occasionally went to that level with my work. I have always known it to be the microwave level, with the TV & FM broadcast transmitters further up above the public floors. Back then, there were long haul microwave transmitters behind the radome, along with some transmitters for pagers, etc.. I don't know what's currently there as both long haul microwave and pagers have long been obsolete.

BTW, Unitel was originally CN Telecommunications and CP Telecommunications and then CNCP Telecommunications. I started with CN Telecommunications in May 1972. As a CN employee, I was given a free ticket to go up to the main level of the tower when it opened. 2607:FEA8:4C82:5900:76D4:35FF:FE5B:F5FA (talk) 15:17, 17 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
