Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. HistoryofIran (talk) 16:53, 29 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Shah Abbasi Caravansarai, Nishapur, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Shah Abbas. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Herat, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please avoid adding controversial information, without reaching a consensus on talk page. Khestwol (talk) 06:52, 2 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Balkh shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

The people of India used to call this place Nisha Pur because for them the sun used to set here, and the day was beginning to fall! Brick-made Dome of Shad Mehrak moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Brick-made Dome of Shad Mehrak, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Translation

edit

Hello! Strange request here, but an article about me and my Wikipedia work has been promoted to Good article status at English Wikipedia and nominated for similar status at Spanish Wikipedia. I'm curious if you have any interest in translating the entry for Persian Wikipedia?

Figured I'd ask since your profile suggests you do translation work. Either way, happy editing! ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:42, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi and thank you for your suggestion! I will start translating it right away! Ehsanbasafa (talk) 22:29, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi @Another Believer. I recently finished translating your article into Persian. Hope you are happy with the result! Ehsanbasafa (talk) 23:41, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Wow, thank you so much! Do you think fa:ویکی‌پدیا:مقاله‌های خوب is an option? ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:44, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi again. I'm quite confident in my quality of translation and right now I am trying to make some minor changes to the article. The article is structurally sound and fit for a good article in my opinion. The only problem is that a lot of other articles like Wikiproject have not yet been translated into Persian and I'm not sure if this will cause a problem in the nomination process of the Persian Wikipedia or not... Ehsanbasafa (talk) 00:02, 9 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Ok, I understand. Well, I'd love to see the article promoted if you feel comfortable nominating. Thanks again for your help here. Much appreciated! :) ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:04, 9 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
