Dubious statements in the article edit

International patents do not exist, only international patent applications exist. --Edcolins (talk) 16:47, 10 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

In a general cleanup of the article I removed that statement. Beyond My Ken (talk) 19:12, 10 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Merging of the Spydercam and Spidercam links would not be advisable as these are two seperate and distinct companies and are not affiliated. Spydercam is US based and primarily used in Film. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.103.96.62 (talk) 19:52, 7 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Invention edit

When I was a kid of 12yrs, I set up a system in my bedroom. I fitted pulleys to each corner of my bedroom. I used wool from my Nana's kit. I had a weighted hook, which I could control to go to any suspended point in the plane of the pulleys. I could lower it to the floor and transfer items from one point to any other on the floor. I did it all by hand, & instead of having reels, I had lengths of wool streamed out on the floor beside me, being careful to avoid tangles & knots.
