Sea Level Change at Ephesus? edit

It is said that after an earthquake in the 6th century, the sea at Ephesus receded about 6 kilometers. Meanwhile, the mean sea level in the past 2000 years didn't change much. Does this mean that the earthquake in the 6 century raised the land of Ephesus to a higher level? --Roland (talk) 15:27, 18 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
