The article describes the group as including some basal tetanurans but not all tetanurans which makes Avifilopluma paraphyletic.
Groups based on specific features are pretty much the farthest thing from a clade anyway.
The second sentence in this article basically says: "Unlike most clades, which are clades, this clade is not a clade."
I'm not going to make changes to the article because this could just be a gap in my knowledge, but I think it's worth discussion. ThatChapThere (talk) 12:01, 23 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
