Proper way to insert images in infoboxes

Hello @Dafea23. I am @Archer1234. I noticed your recent edit to Cho So-hyun where you added an image to the infobox. I want to let you know that the way you added the image was not done according to Wikipedia's Manual of Style (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE).

When adding an image to an infobox, thumbnails should NOT be used. Simply supplying the file name will work. For example, to use File:Image PlaceHolder.png, you can simply use |image=Image PlaceHolder.png. Captions should be specified with the |caption= parameter. Every infobox is different and the documentation for the infobox in question should be consulted for the proper parameters to match the image and caption.

To fix

Do not use the full image syntax:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead, just supply the name of the image. So, in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg

and optionally:

|caption=Some image caption.

How do you know this?

When you commented -> this <- on Ratnahastin's talk page, you mentioned that Molly-Mae Sharpe was contacted on social media by a Ritesh Kumar of Gloster media claiming to be specialist in wikipedia moderation who can help. May I ask how you know Sharpe was contacted in this manner? Wilhelm Tell DCCXLVI (^{talk to me!}/_{my edits}) 16:52, 20 May 2024 (UTC)

Here,they stated that footballer was then contacted directly on Instagram by a company who knew of the rejection and offered to help with it., they are probably connected to the subject or perhaps this is a case of undisclosed paid editing . Ratnahastin (talk) 17:14, 20 May 2024 (UTC)
