its website uses only The Standard term. According to this source [1] it changed its name to The East African Standard in 1995 (or later). I've been reading their website for years and the name has been reverted to The Standard fairly recently (AFAIK). Hence the domain name. Julius Sahara 08:31, 5 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
