The article, where the added information is taken from, appeared in a New Yorker local newspaper on June 8th, 1946; the family photo I mentioned can be found on the internet at http://www.corbis.de (an online- photo service). ban on films in Germany edit
The ban on many films from that era persists in Germany. They are declared "Vorbehaltsfilme", which means that they only can be displayed under special conditions. What can however happen is that films are removed from that list of "Vorbehaltsfilme".--41.151.40.237 (talk) 08:49, 28 November 2011 (UTC)
