Can {{cleanup-importance}} be removed now.--Fenian Swine 01:59, 19 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Cleanup tag edit

(From User talk:Pearle)

In what way does the article need to be cleaned up.--Play Brian Moore 01:32, 28 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Because it is shite. Avril
I'm not entirely sure. Pearle did not add the cleanup tag; she only changed it to a date-specific one. An anonymous editor (18.60.3.22) added the cleanup tag on 27 August. I see User:Petaholmes had added the cleanup-importance tag on 14 August. I guess this team is notable because they've won an all-Ireland championship? If so, that should probably be mentioned first. I think the article could probably use a copyedit (though there may be some Irish English variations that look like errors to me) and maybe some tweaking to make it sound less like the evening sports report and more like an encyclopedia. Sometimes similar articles are supposed to have a similar format, so you might check other teams of the same type to see if there's a template or anything. -- Beland 01:11, 1 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
right, can this tag be removed then if it was added by an anonymous user and there is no real way of cleaning up the article.--Play Brian Moore 15:19, 5 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Beland is entirely correct, the style needs to be cleaned up to conform to encyclopedic norms. Please do not keep removing the AfC tag. --84.66.155.225 18:21, 9 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

encyclopedic norms. Please explain this to a simple Irish Fenian <sarcasm> such as myself. Also, if you're so interested in this project, create an account. --Play Brian Moore 22:46, 9 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
The first encyclopedic norm is that of proper spelling and punctuation. I have no need of an account, I need no expression of vanity and I am happy to edit this fine project anonymously. --84.68.206.219 18:47, 10 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
Yeah goodluck with that<sarcasm>.Live the dream.--Play Brian Moore 00:11, 11 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

champion or championships edit

which would look best in the infobox? (Gnevin 13:17, 22 March 2006 (UTC))Reply

How can you say the second best team behind cuala - cuala are shite!! I'm removing that! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.189.64.35 (talk) 13:50, 22 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Crokes Jersey edit

The Kilmacud Crokes jersey is simular to the Wexford jersey. It is purple with a yellow belly. The wear white shorts with a purple stripe up the side and they wear purple socks with a yellow line running along around the top. I would add this myself but I don't nno how.--Play Brian Moore 18:18, 6 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

The Crokes jersey doesn't look like the one on the page any more - it was changed a few years back. It's now almost all purple. Also, although Silverpark is often used for hurling it is by no means a "hurling pitch" as many football games are also played here.

Vandalism edit

It seems that every time you on wiki, you notice more vandalism on the Kilmacud Crokes page and also the Mark Vaughan page, (if you go to the 2000's section you will notice that someone refers to him as a 'cunt'. It would be worth restricting ths Crokes and Vaughan pages to registeres editors only? Frainc 14:22 16 May 2006

Argee does anyone know about how to do this (Gnevin 22:39, 16 May 2006 (UTC))Reply

Admin word says that their is not enough vandalism to justify protection we'll just have too rv what we see (Gnevin 01:02, 18 May 2006 (UTC))Reply
Not enough vandilism?. These pages are vandilised every single day. It is becoming a joke. They should be restricted to registered users.--Play Brian Moore 21:59, 18 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
