Birth Date edit

Hardcore gamer 48 set Kevin's birth date to 8 March [1] after hearing it on National Nine News, and then reverted it because it contradicts the sources reporting he was 70 when he died. I heard 8 March too.

I wonder if the majority of sources are wrong and, in fact, he was 70 when he retired, but 71 when he died.

Of course that's original research, so watch for more sources for evidence...

It would make it much easier if it was, but Rob Kelvin said himself that he was 70 when he died... I suppose we can find out during the tribute for him on the weekend. : ) Hardcore gamer 48 12:35, 11 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

The NWS-9 home page is also saying 1936-2007. Mark Hurd 12:10, 15 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Rob Kelvin reported on "National Nine News" on April 11 that he was born March 8, 1936. This does contradicts other sources which list him as being 70. The obituaries in The Advertiser newspaper (April 14, 2007) (including from his son Tom Crease) gave the impression that he was 70 (there was no date of birth, but the year 1936 was listed, with his age listed as 70). My hunch is that 70 was chosen by the family, but that he was actually 71 years old. This, of course, is a somewhat common practice - case in point, Elizabeth Montgomery's family listed her age as 57, although all other major sources (and biographers since then, such as Rita E. Piro) have investigated this and found it to be false (she was actually 62). 122.49.158.121 09:38, 16 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
