"officially legalized" edit

Christianity was legalized by Galerius, not Constantine, by this very Edict. Its true that it has often been said that Christianity was legalized by Edict of Milan etc., but this is incorrect. See the talk pages on Constantine the Great and Arius.Ocyril (talk) 19:38, 24 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Well, the argument can be made that the persecution in the East was resumed under Maximinus Daia. At least that is the reason mentioned by Diocletianic Persecution.

Citation from the project Gutenberg? edit

Isn't it better to use public domain Project Gutenberg for the citations instead of the less stable Google Books cite? http://www.gutenberg.org/files/732/732-h/732-h.htm#linknote-173

Galerius citations... Any progress? edit

Just saying I mean you know he legalized Christianity for the West could but I just don't think that their plan was to keep it legal in the East anyways. It was just a little like catalytic converter. No evidence but it just seems to make sense you know what I mean? 2603:8001:E45:2100:A5B1:6BC8:40AF:9039 (talk) 16:29, 22 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
