There are several nuns who are M.I.C. Why does this article claim it is a male sect? Softlavender (talk) 06:58, 11 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

The Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception (also abbreviated M.I.C.) is a female order based in Montreal (home page). See also the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of the Mother of God, who use the abbreviation S.M.I.C. – Maliepa (talk) 15:35, 11 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
OK thanks Maliepa, I'll use that as a hotlink for an article that uses the acronym for some nuns. Softlavender (talk) 02:53, 12 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Note that there is already an article about the founder of the female order, Délia Tétreault. – Maliepa (talk) 03:04, 12 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Sisters of the Annonciade is a female branch of this men order. That's interesting, the female order was first. Wizikj (talk) 17:16, 11 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
