City pictures edit
Could someone please place some pictures of the city here. Maybe an arial view and some buildings by le Corbusier?
(Too) many citations here are data rescued by archive.org edit
I think there are far too many citations that refer to archive.org as their source. (The original pages apparently have gone away.) Isn't it preferable to have information found in pages that are live now rather leaning so heavily on archive.org to rescue the information? Sesquiannual (talk) 18:18, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
A quick count shows 81 of 110 are from archive.org Sesquiannual (talk) 18:20, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
Hmm. @Sesquiannual:, I just added a few new sources (live links) as archives (archived them, and cited the archived copy), in case they get deleted off the web later. So in that way I think having archived links is really useful. I don't think we can trust the world wide web to keep pages alive, and so, like wikipedia saves all versions of everything, I think the attempt with archive.org is the same =) Tanyasingh (talk) 06:10, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
- That makes sense. Having both the live data and the archive.org together is the best of both worlds. It also lets you see when the information on the live site has changed. Thanks for your effort! Sesquiannual (talk) 00:31, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
