Evan Christopher Roe (born February 9, 2000)[1] is an American actor. He is known for his roles as Jason McCord in the CBS political drama series Madam Secretary (2014-2019) and Wally Croker in the Netflix limited series A Man in Full (2024).[2]

Early life and education edit
Roe was born in Seattle, Washington, and raised in San Diego, California and New York City. He briefly attended the Professional Performing Arts School[3] and graduated from New York University in 2022. He later studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.[4]
Career edit
Roe began his career as a child actor, first appearing in a 2012 episode of Disney Channel's Jessie. From 2014 to 2019 he portrayed Jason McCord, the son of Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord, on Madam Secretary.[5] The following year he appeared in director Tayarisha Poe's debut film Selah and the Spades, which premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and was released in 2020.[6] In 2022, Roe was cast opposite Jeff Daniels and Diane Lane in A Man in Full, which premiered on May 2, 2024.
